Welcome

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Obrenovich and I have the wonderfully fulfilling job of teaching at Jefferson Elementary in the mornings and Mitchell Elementary in the afternoons.  I have very much enjoyed meeting and working with my students this school year.  As we enter into the month of December, it is important to continue reading at home with your children.  More importantly, make sure your child has reading material they are truly interested in.  There is so much good literature to choose from.  If they're not bringing home books from school, take your family to the local library.  The West Allis Public Library has a lot to offer and is located at 7421 West National Avenue.  Also, here is a list from the International Reading Association of books that children have recommended.  http://www.reading.org/Libraries/awards/ChildrensChoices2012_web.pdf
